Sustainability Policy
ADLERS Lifestyle-Hotel Innsbruck

Reaching new heights – with a sense of responsibility.

The ADLERS Lifestyle-Hotel Innsbruck stands for vision: on the one hand, the literal view from Innsbruck’s highest comfort zone, and on the other, the figurative vision of a hotel that thinks beyond the everyday routine. For us, sustainability is not a trend or a marketing promise, but a mindset that we explore further below.

Responsibility

Using resources responsibly is not a constraint – it is a choice we make anew every day. As part of a family business with roots in the Tyrolean hospitality industry stretching back generations, we take a long-term view. It is not one big step that moves us forward – but many small, consistent improvements in our day-to-day actions.

Our staff are trained in the sustainable and responsible use of our resources from the moment they join the company and on an ongoing basis throughout their time with us. After all, sustainability thrives on people who truly understand it and support it.

Local & homemade

Produce from the region not only tastes better – it simply makes more sense. At the ADLERS Lifestyle Hotel Innsbruck, we prioritise products that have travelled a short distance. That’s why our extensive breakfast buffet includes, amongst other things, organic milk from Kärtnermilch and yoghurt from Tirolmilch. We source our cheese through Berg Bauer from alpine dairies in Tyrol, and our sausage specialities from the organic butcher’s Juffinger. We also offer daily homemade specialities, such as our home-baked cakes and pastries, as well as our ever-changing original creations from our kitchen, such as our homemade jams. Homemade and regional – that’s not just a catchphrase, but our commitment.

Be(e) the change! We’re bee sponsors.

Because we love honeybees, we have taken on a sponsorship. This also has a very direct benefit: the delicious honey produced by the Hinteregger family’s bees is served at our breakfast buffet. You can download our bee sponsorship certificate below.

Environmentally friendly printing materials

As we also handle administrative tasks, we adopt a sustainable approach to our day-to-day office work. At ADLERS, we use office paper with a certified eco-label (ISO Type I) and opt for recycled paper wherever possible. We print double-sided and consistently avoid unnecessary printouts. We prefer to communicate digitally, both internally and externally.

Eco-friendly travel

The ADLERS is located just a short walk from Innsbruck Central Station, and thanks to our high-quality soundproofing, you won’t notice a thing as soon as you step into your room. That means: travel by train, arrive and relax. No detours, no long searches, no stress.

For those who prefer to cycle: the Inn Cycle Route runs right through Innsbruck and takes you to us at a leisurely pace. A secure cycle storage room is available for your own bike, as well as a bike repair station if needed. Our e-bike hire service is in-house and can be booked directly at reception – ideal for exploring the city and the surrounding countryside without a car.

Anyone visiting us via eco-friendly transport – by train (long-distance) or by (e-)bike – will be greeted on arrival with a welcome drink – as a small thank you for making a big decision.
